korean cuisine with his family

his sister bought a voucher for Korean BBQ for 6pax from one of online groupon website

thanks to his invitation

i manage to join them for dinner just before i went back to my hometown for Deepavali

was very excited but disappointment begins as they serve the food

lets talk about the good side first

the Korean BBQ restaurant is located at Ampang

right on the second floor of CIMB bank which is situated beside Ampang Point

the place isn't very big

it has about 6-8 partition room only

but the interior design is nice with poem on the walls

overall that place is clean and quiet, supposed to be a nice place for dining

there is only one foreign staff serving while another young Korean guy is to believe to be the owner or the management people

that room is bigger which can fit in 10 person

cute little gas looked piggy bank is placed on the counter for tips

him and i arrived the restaurant first before his family do

we are informed by the waiter that they don't have enough chicken to serve 6pax

so they give us wholly pork instead

honestly it is a little dull to eat pork meat alone

maybe i don't fancy pork much

as for the side dishes, we are entitled to refilled up to 3 times

same goes to the drink

something to be brought up

the drink they serve doesn't taste like green tea which they supposed to served us

no idea what tea was that

probably Chinese tea

okay...there begins the imperfection...

his dad make an additional order because the portion served seem to be not enough

however, we waited and waited and the order didn't come

asked the waiter before we leave to ensure we are not charged on that

and he apologize for making mistake by serving it to other people first

well,i was thinking that if we never ask,will he informed us?

haih....don't know what to comment on that kind of service

then, the air-conditioner of our room is dripping water,consistently after it was turned on, non-stop

good thing it doesn't drip on any of us

and we are also too lazy to make the complaint since the two staff is hard to called

they don't have enough staff to serve when people start to fill up two to three of their partition room

they also didn't install ventilator in each of the room 

that makes the whole place very smokey and oily when we BBQ the pork

the meat they served us was not marinated

it was a bit different from what i had from other Korean cuisine restaurant

the staff also didn't come to help us to manage the meat

could it be due to we didn't pay for service charge?

its all self-service on our own table

dinner for the night

in short, i would rate that restaurant 2/5 stars

it wasn't a pleasant experience because i had been to other better Korean cuisine restaurant which offer similar price
