Penang with S'pore guests

 yes...it was Penang again...
i bet that even you are getting bored of hearing this place from me because i am going there so frequently
like for almost every time i went home i will surely visit Penang

in fact, where else i can go when i am at my hometown?

as usual, i didn't go for my own holiday
instead, i went as a companion for my mum and her friends from S'pore

i arrived at Penang around 4-5 pm and cars are getting many on the road
good thing is i managed to enter Penang before the peak hour where everybody finished work
or else i will be stuck on the Penang bridge and don't know when the traffic jam will end

my mum and i headed to the hotel to met up with her friends first before planning for the next activity
her friends rented a deluxe suite at The Northam Hotel
that was my first time being there and the lobby looks a bit eerie upon my arrival
this is because the lightning is a bit dark
or maybe that place is an old building and that explain why
however, its a big woo-aah when i gets in the room

it was a sea-viewed room!!!
this is how it looks like in the morning
it is good way to welcome a brand new day =)

the breathtaking gurney shore with morning sunshine~

the hotel is simply generous
they provides a very complete range of toiletries of which consist 2 set of each items
meaning say that there were two combs, two shower caps, etc

there are also two toilets, two cupboards and two washbasins provided
what a luxury facilities to demand in a hotel
besides, they also have iron and safe deposit box
you really just need to check-in with your clothes will do

the room is very spacious since it is 76 sq m
it has a separated study and dining area and living room
therefore, it provides a very good environment for fellowship because you can either sit together at the dining table or sofa over the living room
one more thing which my little brother likes it very much is the Jacuzzi bathtub
too bad i didn't get a chance to try on it

after meeting up with my mum's friends,
we decided to go to Teluk Kumbar to try out new restaurant
they previously had been to Hai Boey
so this time we went to the next door, Khunthai Thai Aunthentic Thai Restaurant

their menu is here
kerabu mango - RM 9

steamed lala lemon
mixed vegetables - RM 10

mixed seafood white tomyam - RM 20

steamed fish in Thai style

BBQ crab
there is only one thing i can remember after the meal,
SOUR!
the fish is sour, the lala is sour and the tomyam is sour too
they were different kind of sour but when all of them added together will be too much of sour
however, it is not that bad to the extent of unbearable
as a Thai food lover, i like most of the dish
just a little regrettable because i didn't ate much
