Morib trip

it was quite a rush arrangement

all begins with me sharing out a promotion i spotted on Streetdeal.my

the promotion was about 2 days 1 night at Morib Gold Coast Resort at the price of RM 198 for 2 pax

it includes dinner buffet,breakfast and their water theme park entrance ticket which valid for 2 days

ps : taxes inclusive

hmmm....now you might be thinking what a worth going promotion to take right?

yes~that what in my mind too

out of expectation i got friends who are interested

and we decided to go on the last minute

the most 'chi gek' moment was we only bought the voucher 30 minutes before the promotion ended

haha.i never think of we can make it

and that day comes in less then 1 week time

all of us were very excited

one of my friend even got insomnia on the night before

we depart to Morib at 10 am and it took us approximately 1 hour journey to reach

we stop by Tanjung Sepat for light refreshment as we passed by that little town

for your information, Tanjung Sepat is famous with their Eco-tourism

already been there before so we didn't not spent too much time wandering around

1st stop we visited was a dragon fruit farm

the weather was hot so we didn't take a simple intro tour from the owner

we just walk around,shot some photos then leaving for the next stop

2nd stop was at a home-made pau stall - Hai Yew Heng
they have a few choices of pau and their pau is selling fast!
the last time i visited that place, i waited for some time just for the pau to get cooked
this is due to limited labor used in the production process
they actually hire local aunties to hand-made the pau
there are about 4-6 of them only

then,we headed to a tapioca chip manufacturer to buy souvenir or to be consider as junk food
that made it the 3rd stop of our trip
there are variety of tapioca chip with different flavor
there are also sweet potato chip and other similar product
they are generous to provide customer with many kinds of sample
those chip generally is crispy and fresh
its a good choice as a junk food

we heads to Morib Gold Coast Resort after done buying some tapioca chip

just can't wait to see the place we were gonna stay

expectation is getting high. haha

we first have some shooting at the beach outside the resort since we were early for check-in

one thing i wanna stress on is that the service of the resort is much to be improved

after i done the check-in procedures at pass 1 pm, the recipient counter told me that i can only get my room key at 3 pm

i'm totally fine with that because i understand that they have their own system to be followed

however,i only manage to get my room key at 4 pm with giving pressure to the staff over the counter

they just keep saying my room is not yet clear and then walked away

i was very mad when those staff ignore me and leave me standing there without any further informed

many had the same situation like me too

in fact, the queue was long when it is getting 3 pm

some is about to check in while some other is waiting to get their room key

it a mess over the recipient counter

i don't understand that why the management place trainee there instead of a few experienced staff to handle so many customer

i feel guilt too when i put pressure on those trainee who looks innocent

haih....

one more thing that made me mad was even late comer can obtain the room key earlier than me

whats the logic?!
because of that,i didn't compromise when they can't give me the room i wanted

i insist and at last i got it

nothing to proud of because that act was once categorized as uncivilized doing by me

anyway, things didn't end there

i requested a blanket after dinner since my room less one blanket

it took me going to the management twice to get things done

why is it so hard to give me a blanket?

some more i'm not asking for extra

am i asking too much from them???!

buffet dinner didn't met my expectation

i'm referring to satisfaction of my taste bud

the variety of food offered is moderate

however, they didn't taste very good

it is sufficient to survival or to say make my stomach full only

in short, it was moderate in common

if i ever wanna rate their food

i would give 3/5

after filling up our stomach

we went for some walk at the beach

too bad there isn't any star or moon due to monsoon

it still consider not bad because the environment is peace and windy

we went back our room respectively to enjoy the Jacuzzi since there isn't any other activity to do outdoor at night

all of us enjoy much with the overflowing bubbles in the bathroom
the other couple even played to the extent by which they almost made their bathroom flooded
we played like little kids,throwing bubbles at each other
it was fun to temporarily put down our identify as an adult and enjoy childish thing
it was very comfortable too if you are just soaking yourself in the Jacuzzi
i did the in the morning before checking out
no word can describe how nice it was to have a warm Jacuzzi when there was cold outside
haha
i tried to fully utilized their facilities provided

we woke up at 6+ am on the next morning for the breakfast buffet which started at 7 am
no matter how hard to get our self up from the bed
we still drag our body to the venue
we won't want to miss any benefits included in our voucher

we check out at 12+ pm nearing to 1 pm
i guess we are all not willing to leave and go back to the hectic city life
i wish i can have more time over there
in a nutshell
you can conclude this trip as some sort of double date
but we do really had fun even as friends

looking forward to the next trip
