online shopping through Lazada

honestly speaking, i am not optimistic or confident towards online purchasing.

i will try to avoid online transaction whenever i am given an option.

maybe that will makes me a conservative person who don't appreciate the convenience of which the technology provides,

but i just try to play safe

# reasons

1. i will always worry that i will got into scam where i don't get anything after i made my payment

2. i am worry that error could have happened during the process as such i already paid but the online store didn't receive the payment

3. the item i purchase is different from what it is shown on the website

4. if anything bad happen to the item, i am worry that i can't get any replacement or after sale service

in short, i just don't feel secure with the whole online purchasing thing

however, i had accidentally done my order on Lazada lately

it wasn't my intention to buy at the first place

but then since my order is complete

i might as well wait and see how it goes with my order

why do i say i had accidentally done my order?

that is because the whole process to place an order is so simple

if i am not wrong it only requires 3 steps

i am not even required to sign up an account

for the 1st step, of course is you click into the item you want to buy

then the 2nd step they will ask for your email address and perhaps mobile phone number

as for the third step is to choose payment method

in my case,

the payment method automatically goes to COD (cash on delivery)/credit card

not sure this is the default method or not

but you still get to choose other payment methods such as online banking or Paypal

i wasn't paying much attention at that point and just fill in my home address as required

because i was expecting it will prompt out some confirmation message or something similar

usually website will have that right?

whenever comes to payment or delivery address they surely will ask you to confirm

but that didn't happen in Lazada

i went on to click on the next button then suddenly it shows that my order was complete

i was stunned for a few seconds

what?!!!

i just complete my order?

without asking me whether i confirm or not

try to find any cancellation button but there isn't any

quickly check my mail box and indeed they already received and processing my order

haih...

what to do?

nevermind la

someday i still need to buy that item though

the message which prompt out after step 3 mentioned above

confirmation email received in my mailbox

it is stated that item will be received in 1-3 working days

and true enough i received it within that period of time

 just that the parcel arrived quite late at 7+pm

i thought mostly delivery will reached in day time?

whatever

most important it does comes to me

and what i have to do is just to make my payment to the delivery man

as simple as that

no more worries about making payment online

you can just pay cash

quite reasonable expiry date though
i thought that they are selling it cheap because it is near expiry date
it seems like those positive reviews on the website appear to be true
