i simply have too much to share lately
before i came back to KL
i stay over at my aunt's house in Penang
one reason is because her house is near to airport (i am taking flight)
another is i wanted to see how people celebrate the 8th day of CNY
the 8th day is widely known as ' Pai Ti Kong ' or ' Ti Kong Meh '
it is one of the most happening event celebrated in Penang
i went to Chew Jetty with my aunties and cousins to witness how grand is the festival

that night was eye opening to me
many TV station had sent their reporter to catch the latest updates for the event
i have never see this situation before
this is how much attention people put on the event
people were getting crowded when its nearing 12 am
i guess that was the climax of the event
the temple invited the Jade Emperor (God in heaven) to enable believer to pray to him
i noticed there was a long table covered with red cloths behind the God
it is for believers to place their offerings and sacrifices
okay...
don't ask me what they give as offering and sacrifice
don't ask me how are they going to worship the Jade Emperor too
i can't even get near to have a closer look
everybody is pushing each other and squeeze to the front to take photos

after the ceremony is done
we walked back to my aunt house nearby

the night ends with never-ending fireworks...

after done sharing about the night activities
now gonna talk about the day time activities
guess what had i done =)
we suddenly drop in E & O hotel ( Eastern & Oriental hotel ) because i said i never been there before
million thanks to my cousin brother for being so good, satisfying my every curiosity
he stop somewhere nearby by the upper Penang Road
we have to cross the road in order to reach that hotel
